My heart is currently beating a little bit too fast for my liking right now, so, naturally, I need a glass of wine. Except one glass of wine usually becomes two, which tends to be my limit for the day, until it becomes three. If, or when, I hit four glasses of wine, I knock the fuck out.
Imagination is a much stronger force than willpower, and, right now, I can see the shiny threads on this rose gold skirt morphing into droplets, slithering down past my knees, over the lace, and into my sad, stemless wine glass from Bed, Bath, & Beyond. I am trying to convince myself that only Jesus can turn water into wine, and I cannot turn skirts into Chardonnay. But when I see this skirt, I see the bottle in my fridge. The wine, much like the fabric, is gleaming, elegant, supple -- and only a twist of the screw cap away.
I cannot help having a BOISTEROUS imagination, nor can I help my heart and mind's afflictions; my obsessive, racing, and intrusive thoughts, my impulsivity, cravings, nor my wants and desires. I also cannot focus on anything else, apparently. Unlike alcohol, however, this skirt will not make you messy. It will not make you text your ex, incoherent, unnecessarily belligerent, or an awful, lying, manipulative bitch. This skirt will turn you into the princess you've always wanted to be -- whimsical, kind, loving, and compassionate. And beautiful, too.
