Floral Sequins Cardigan
Floral Sequins Cardigan
Black, silk, and angora, sequin-embellished cardigan from the 80s. Embroidery detail on back. Button closure. Made in Italy. Fits XS-M.
It's a bit of a paradox that vintage clothing is often of much better quality than newer clothing, but it makes perfect sense considering that most clothes nowadays are made by poor Bangladeshi children in corroding buildings. I, personally, am opposed to child labor, but I totally get it if you're into that sort of thing.
Sure, vintage has its defects and is not all created equally or whatever, but it's durable and will likely endure enough to be passed down to your kids one day. This sweater probably has a few loose sequins, but none too noticeable. The buttons are all functional and intact but may need some reinforcement down the line. I, unfortunately, am not allowed to disclose personal details about the magician who made this sweater, but I can tell you that it was crafted in Italy and, most importantly, not by enslaved children -- which I LOVE.
