I cried more times than I can count this week, and I'll tell you why. I cried while watching the local news on Sunday because of a snippet they played about a mom who customized her deaf daughter's Barbies. I bawled, actually. I cried while writing a birthday card on Monday because I love and miss the Birthday Man so much!! I can't tell you who because he hasn't received the card yet, but I should mention that card-writing isn't typically enough to make me cry. Only a scarce number of people know which buttons to push for that, and that's my mom and a few undiagnosed ex-boyfriends. I also cried yesterday when I realized I'd run out of soy sauce, while reminiscing about a concert on the train, and also because I ran out of storage on my phone. In the evening, I got out of my bed, frustrated and ill-tempered, to look for my vape and, of course, there was blood on my sheets. So I cried again.
In other words, I've been a bit blue. And this skirt is blue. So it relates. And that's all you're getting.
