Last night I made kelp noodles for a guy who's sporadically keto and takes seven different kinds of supplements ever since he spent ten days in California in November. I think seven is a lot and that Ginkgo biloba is a farce, but he does not, so I keep it to myself because I'm sympathetic to anyone who spends time in California, the Cult Capital of the United States, and where one-third of all cults reside.
Like in all other cults, brainwashing is the bedrock of Wellness but, unlike other cults, Wellness is fortified by industry and good marketing which automatically makes Wellness uncool and taking seven different kinds of supplements weird. Personally, I love community and would love to join a cult one day, too, but until I find one that suits my vibe, you can find me here selling my silly little clothes.
